Seattle Dogworks is excited to announce the return of Premium Boarding with D5!

POLICIES

Payment Policy for Boarding Services:

Credit card may be required to confirm booking. Payment for all boarding services due immediately upon return. 48 hour notice required for cancellation. Cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled appointment will be charged for scheduled service. This fee is non-refundable. No-shows will be considered a cancellation within 48 hours.

PREMIUM BOARDING
Seattle Dogworks founder, Cristine Dahl, created this very special boarding service as an answer to her own worries when faced with the need to board her own dogs. Now, this specialty service has expanded and is being offered by D5 owner and Dogworks manager, Joel Cameron.

Joel says....

“My wife and I live in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood with our five-year-old rescue dog, Professor Holstein, and our new puppy, Sherlock. Our dog-centric home has fully fenced yards, tons of toys, activities, beds, snuggle areas, and lots of room to play and scratch. Dogs are not a hobby for me, they are my full-time job and life passion.

From the moment his paws pad across our threshold, your dog becomes one of our own until you return. We are dedicated to accommodating the special needs that make your dog an individual; special diet, exercise, therapy, and medical (administering meds) needs will be met. We are especially sensitive to the needs of behaviorally challenged dogs who may be timid, under confident, or geriatric, and we are well suited for puppy care.

Because I am a trainer by profession, your dog will also enjoy the behavioral advantages of daily manners management. He will be encouraged to sit and settle before going outside, behave nicely on leash if going out for a walk, show general manners in the home etc. While he will be part of the structured lifestyle of the Cameron house, he will also be showered with affection, loved and snugged, and allowed to be the dog he is.

Please be advised that premium boarding is not for the owner looking for formal training. For formal training during boarding, please consider our BOOT CAMP (Board & Train) service (now booking into the new year). Premium boarding is truly for indulgence during your absence.“

Space in premium boarding is very limited especially during the holidays. No more than three guest dogs are accommodated at a time so you are encouraged to book early.

LOGISTICS:
Your dog will be picked up from your home at a scheduled time before your departure. He will be delivered to your home at a predetermined time as soon after your return as possible, to be arranged during pick-up or before. You will need to provide food, meds or other supplements, and something special such as a blankie or t-shirt that smells like home. We will provide all treats, beds, crates, toys, and other funs. Please note: to maintain the peaceful environment necessary to keep dogs calm and as stress-free as possible, we do not allow pick-ups and drop-offs at our home. If you’d like pictures of our setting or more information before booking, do not hesitate to contact us.

Joel will provide email updates every few days.

COST: $60/day.
Full rate applies to first day of stay despite time of pick-up. If drop off is before noon on the final day of boarding, no charge will be applied for that day. If drop off is after noon on the final day of boarding, full daily rate applies. Discount of $100 will be applied to visits of 10 days or more.

Please note that we cannot accept dogs with dog/dog or human aggression or those who have profound separation anxiety (blowing of bladder & bowels, extreme vocalizing, self-mutilation, etc....).
